The RNome Disruptive Research Grant supports the Human RNome Project’s vision by empowering researchers to uncover the complexities of RNA for all organisms. Zymo Research is committed to nurturing collaboration, driving scientific discoveries, and translating them into diagnostic and therapeutic breakthroughs.
Grant Award
We are thrilled to offer five qualified applicants a $5,000 credit to explore our extensive selection of innovative RNA technologies, covering every step of the workflow, from sample collection and extraction to library preparation. Each grantee will also receive an exclusive technology consultation from Zymo Research's product specialists.
Selection Process
The selection process for the RNome Disruptive Research Grant is designed to identify and support researchers who are deeply committed to advancing our understanding of RNA and its role in health and disease. The selection committee seeks individuals who show a profound dedication to their scientific endeavors, the intricacies of RNA they investigate, and the potential implications for human health. Deadline
The latest time to submit your application for the RNome Disruptive Research Grant is June 10, 2025. Applicants will receive a notice on the status of their selection by July 31, 2025.
Eligibility and Requirements
- Applicants must propose original research that contributes to the understanding of the RNA landscape for any organism, utilizing molecular methods.
- Researchers should be willing to engage with the broader scientific community, sharing insights and findings from their work.
- This grant is open to domestic U.S. and international applicants.
- Eligibility is maintained for applicants who may also be recipients of funding from external sources.
- Recipients are expected to acknowledge Zymo Research’s products or services in their publications, reflecting the use of these tools in their research.
