Zymo Research Launches Inaugural BioFestival at USC to Celebrate Innovation in Life Sciences
IRVINE, CA (FEBRUARY 7, 2025) — Zymo Research Corp., a pioneer in biotechnology, proudly announces the inaugural BioFestival, a first-of-its-kind event dedicated to advancing science, innovation, and sustainability in the life sciences. The first BioFestival will take place at the University of Southern California (USC) on February 11, 2025, with additional events planned at other top-tier research institutions later this year.
The BioFestival bridges the gap between academia and industry, providing a dynamic platform for collaboration, discovery, and forward-thinking solutions. Attendees will engage with hands-on exhibits, interactive activities, and scientific presentations. The event will also feature a high-stakes research competition, the BioDisruptor Grant Competition, where student researchers will present groundbreaking projects tackling today’s biggest scientific challenges. Winners determined by a judging panel of industry and academic scientists will receive prestigious grants, Zymo Research reagents, and additional resources to accelerate their research.

The USC BioFestival will feature:
